Mosaic Architecture + Design is set to renovate four banqueting rooms at the Royal Automobile Club’s Pall Mall clubhouse in London this summer.

Stephen Mallon, director of Mosaic Architecture + Design, stated that the goal is to improve the spaces while maintaining their original charm.

Nicola Bell, chair of the Pall Mall Committee, said: “We have worked hard to retain the personality and character of the rooms, which are beautiful.

“We’re delighted that Mosaic’s designs consider the differing needs of daytime and evening users, especially regarding lighting, and that artwork changes will be made to ensure consistency and complement the room themes.

“Mosaic’s enthusiasm for the project is palpable, and their efforts will ensure these spectacular rooms can be enjoyed for decades to come.”

The Segrave Room, the Mall, the Small Mall, and the Committee Room will be refreshed, building on Mosaic’s recent projects on the Stewart, Mountbatten, and Terrace Rooms.

The Segrave Room will feature a custom carpet inspired by Sir Henry Segrave’s Golden Arrow car, warmer lighting, and new ceiling details.

The Committee Room will see integrated audio, restored gilded decoration, chandelier details, and larger antique mirror panels.

The Mall and Small Mall will adopt a navy-and-neutral colour scheme, with carpets inspired by St James’s Park and new ceiling motifs.

Additionally, the Mall will include a rosewood-and-burr bookcase.

This project aims to safeguard the Grade I-listed clubhouse’s historic character while adding modern comforts.
