The Scottish Event Campus has announced the entertainment line-up for a Scotland v Haiti watch party at the OVO Hydro this weekend, as the venue prepares to host the country’s largest fan zone.

Supporters will gather to watch Scotland’s opening FIFA World Cup group match at the venue on Saturday, 13, with doors opening at 10 pm ahead of the 2 am kick-off on Sunday, June 14.

Debbie McWilliams, chief commercial officer at Scottish Event Campus, said: “Our Moment Live will turn the OVO Hydro into an unforgettable experience for Scotland fans.

“With legendary artists, energetic performances, and thousands of passionate supporters, it promises to be a special night.”

The programme includes performances by The Hoolie, the Hydro house band led by Gary Innes, as well as Dougie MacLean and Donnie Munro.

MacLean is expected to perform Caledonia, while Munro will perform songs including Loch Lomond.

Accordion player RuMac, a Britain’s Got Talent finalist, will also appear.

Before the match, fans will be able to take part in family-friendly activities, including a beat-the-goalie competition, face painting, and interactive football games.

Photo opportunities will also be available.

The event will be hosted by Des Clarke and Beth Wallace, founder of The Big Scottish Football Show.

The match will be shown on the OVO Hydro’s 20-metre screen, billed as the largest in Scotland.

Broadcaster Rob MacLean and former Scotland defender Charlie Mulgrew will provide pre-match and half-time analysis.

Food and drink will be available, and the Hydro bowl will feature Bierhall-style seating.

The Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity will run fundraising activities during the event, including bucket collections, football games, and a raffle for ticket holders.

Group and family packages, free tickets for chaperones accompanying children, and special rates for designated drivers and parking are available.

Tickets remain on sale, and further acts and experiences for Scotland’s remaining group matches will be announced soon.

Tickets can be purchased here.
