Duckhams Oils have been awarded SIRIM Product Certification, confirming that Duckhams Lubricants meet strict safety, quality and regulatory standards.

 A SIRIM delegation led by Senior General Manager of SIRIM Marketing and Customer Experience, Mr Aminudin Bin Abd Aziz, presented the certificate to Johor Darul Ta’zim FC Chief Executive Officer and Technical Director Alistair Edwards.

The SIRIM certification was introduced in response to growing concerns over the increasing number of counterfeit engine oils in domestic and international markets. To address the issue and protect consumers, Malaysian authorities implemented the Trade Descriptions (Certification and Marking of Engine Oil for Motor Vehicle) Order 2024 (“Order”) in 2024, which took effect in April 2025. 

Applicants involved in the manufacturing, importing, exhibiting, selling, and advertising of engine oils in Malaysia must ensure compliance with the Order and provide information on testing, certification, marking, and labelling requirements.

Duckhams unveiled its co-branded two-wheeler oils, proudly developed in collaboration with JDT Lubricants in Malaysia, earlier this year.
