Award-winning HR Director, CEO and women’s mentor Wendy Dean (pictured above), has been announced as a proud finalist for the Lifetime Achievement Award at the prestigious National Business Women’s Awards.
The inspirational business leader is honoured to be shortlisted as one of only three finalists in the award category, which celebrates women who throughout their career have supported and equipped women in their sector to progress and accomplish significant achievements.
With over 30 years’ experience making her mark in industries that were traditionally male-dominated, and now as Founder and CEO of business consultancy Strategi Solutions, the coveted accolade is a testament to Wendy’s passion and dedication throughout her career.
She has also been involved in the creation and support of numerous charities and foundations, mostly focused on education, supporting her local community and the celebration of women in business.
Speaking of her achievement, Wendy Dean said: “I am immensely proud to have been shortlisted to the final three for this prestigious award. With a passion for sharing my story to guide others on their own path – whether that be as a female in business, a HR professional, or someone just looking for a new outlook on life – I strive to support women to challenge and enhance their attributes, improve their personal and professional life, and achieve their goals.
It is an honour to be recognised in this way. I am in great company in receiving this high-profile recognition, and look forward to the awards ceremony this November in London.”
The much-coveted recognition follows hot on the heels of a hugely successful personal development event for women curated and led by Wendy, ‘Why Women Don’t Play Golf’. At the immersive two-day retreat, female business leaders joined together to embark on a transformative journey, participating in a series of interactive and engaging workshops to gain practical knowledge and skills, enabling them to reach their full potential.
