TRNSMT REVEAL LINEUP DESPITE POTENTIAL TRAVEL ISSUES
There is just over a week to go till TRNSMT 2022 and the bosses of the festival have graced fans with the set times for each artist.
The announcement went live on the TRNSMT app recently meaning festival-goers can now plan their day dependent on the approximate timings for each musician. They can do this through the app’s favourite’s button allowing people to select the artists they most want to see.
TRNSMT replaced the infamous T in the Park back in 2017 as the annual festival in Scotland, debuting with the headliners of Radiohead, Kasabian and Queen + Adam Lambert.
Now in its fifth year, Paolo Nutini, The Strokes and Lewis Capaldi will be headlining the main stage across the weekend.
However, festival goers have been warned to expect travel disruption as trains are proving to be unreliable amid a temporary timetable from ScotRail as they tackle a driver shortage and recent strikes from Network Rail forced the UK’s rail service to come to a standstill.
Ticket holders are being advised to make their way to Glasgow city centre and walk to Glasgow Green from there – that takes around 20 minutes. There are no allocated parking spaces for TRNSMT and people are reminded that it is surrounded by a residential area where the roads will be closed.
