WithYouWithMe, the social impact firm whose data-led talent management platform is helping businesses tackle the increasing digital skills gap, has appointed a new UK VP as it sets its sights on ambitious growth plans in the region this year and beyond.
James McLaughlin (pictured above), formerly Director of Business Development at tech-for-good firm Board Intelligence, where he spent nearly four years, brings with him more than ten years’ experience in sales and business development in the B2B technology space.
McLaughlin will be responsible for heading up WithYouWithMe’s UK operation from its London HQ and delivering on its strategic objectives for growth and business development.
WithYouWithMe is a social impact company which deploys its workforce management technology across major commercial and government organisations to identify and grow overlooked talent. Challenging traditional recruitment practices like CV screening, its proprietary workforce management platform, ‘Potential’, is the world’s only end-to-end talent pipeline system.
Working with corporates including Capita, BAE Systems, EY, Leidos, Fujitsu, Microsoft and more, WithYouWithMe’s data-led employment tool guides employers through a process of discovery, training and deploying talent.
James McLaughlin commented: “WithYouWithMe has ambitious global growth plans, and I am proud to be driving our progress in the UK market where there is a real opportunity to bring our proven data-led approach to talent management to even more corporates who are crying out for skilled digital talent.
Supporting underrepresented and overlooked groups is incredibly close to my heart and it gives me immense pleasure to be responsible for helping to unearth the next generation of digital talent across the UK, while helping our excellent tech ecosystem to grow and develop.”
Since starting in Australia in 2015, WithYouWithMe has successfully expanded across three continents and its platform userbase now exceeds 90,000 people. It continues to produce high-performing digital teams through its ‘ethical AI’ model which uses psychometric and aptitude testing to assess potential and match skills to digital careers, levelling the playing field by prioritising candidates’ potential which supports under-represented groups including women, neurodivergent individuals and veterans.
WithYouWithMe’s CEO Tom Larter said: “Over the past 18 months, our global business has experienced remarkable growth, with the UK emerging as our fastest growing market.
With James joining our leadership team, we are making a strategic move to further expand our impact and operations in this crucial region. James brings a purpose-led approach to leadership that aligns with our mission to address the digital skills gap while creating a more equitable world.”
He added: “We are confident that under James’ guidance, our UK operation will thrive as we continue to rapidly create capable talent from non-traditional talent pools and empower organisations to create opportunities for their employees to deliver long-term value.”
