SAS Daniels, the leading North West law firm and local business, has been announced as a proud sponsor of the Centenary Open Exhibition 2025 at the historic Stockport War Memorial Art Gallery.

The highly anticipated occasion, running from 22nd of June to 22nd of August, will mark 100 years since the Grade II listed War Memorial opened its doors. In addition to commemorating the momentous milestone, the exhibition will shine a spotlight on the talent of Stockport’s vibrant creative community.

Showcasing the borough’s rich cultural heritage, the exhibition has attracted over 200 submissions across a variety of mediums including video, music, textiles, ceramics and an array of paintings, which are displayed across the Upper Gallery, East and West Galleries, and Artlink.

SAS Daniels is donating the prizes for this year’s Open Exhibition, with visitors encouraged to vote for their favourite artwork in the People’s Choice Award by Thursday 7 August. Monetary prizes will be awarded to the top three entries in both the adult and children categories, with £150 presented to each first-place winner.

The Prize Giving Ceremony will take place on Saturday, 9 August from 2pm to 4pm, with the Mayor of Stockport in attendance.

Representing the firm, Katie Hodson (pictured above), partner, head of employment and joint head of Stockport office at SAS Daniels, will deliver a speech and present the coveted accolades to the winners.
