Former England rugby captain Owen Farrell has joined forces with Manchester United footballer Mason Mount to launch a new golf clothing brand, Maejer Golf.
The brand officially launched on July 26 with its debut collection, Chapter 1, featuring a selection of golf-inspired clothing and accessories.
Farrell and Mount are among the founders and investors behind the venture, which aims to combine traditional golf style with modern design and performance. Their shared passion for the sport helped bring the project to life.
The pair established the company alongside James Gullick, who spent ten years working with British fashion brand Represent, and Ben Harris, a former Nike employee.
Speaking to Big Swing Media about the partnership, Gullick said their shared enthusiasm for golf made the collaboration a natural fit.
He also explained that both Farrell and Mount recognise the importance of planning for life beyond their professional sporting careers. According to Gullick, the pair have shown a keen interest in business and investing while continuing to compete at the highest level.
Farrell’s New Business Venture
Maejer Golf was founded after its creators identified an opportunity to offer something different in the golf clothing market.
On its official website, the brand explained that the founders were dissatisfied with many of the existing options and decided to develop their own label.
Rather than focusing exclusively on technical performance, Maejer Golf aims to capture the wider lifestyle and culture surrounding the game, including the experiences before, during and after a round.
Farrell has already taken an active role in promoting the brand, recently featuring in a dedicated campaign for Maejer Golf.
The former England captain was pictured modelling items from the Chapter 1 collection, showcasing the brand’s contemporary approach to golf fashion.
