Investor takes slice of Boss Pizza valuing it at £2 million

Shalim Abs, through one of his investment companies bought a 5% stake for £100,000, valuing Boss Pizza at £2 million. A prominent investor and hospitality boss Shalim has been in the Hospitality business for over 30 years.
Shalim said “My team has a keen eye for identifying promising opportunities and Boss Pizza is clearly demonstrating that it has excellent upside potential. This is a young energetic brand with a very experienced team at the helm”.
Boss Pizza is a blossoming into a successful independent pizza chain who are aiming to open more stores across the UK while being able to go head to head with established brands like Dominos.
The business was founded in response to a market demand for fresh dough pizzas. The pizzas made by Boss Pizza are 40% bigger and 50% cheaper than those made by Dominos.
Boss Pizza CEO Ajmal Mushtaq said “Delighted to have secured this investment which enables us to tap into Shalim’s vast experience, which will be invaluable as we embark on a journey to grow Boss Pizza into a national brand”.
Shalim concluded by saying “I am personally very excited in what’s to come for this company with many projects on the slate and many more to come.
