Ex-Network Rail Operations Manager joins Resonate Group

Ex-Network Rail Operations Manager Ben Rudkin (pictured above) has been appointed Operations Director by Resonate Group to lead service delivery for its data-driven rail and traffic management technologies.
In the role, Rudkin will be in charge of rolling out Resonate’s core services across its customer network, enhancing service delivery based on market challenges and opportunities in light of the Our Control Period (CP7) plan from Network Rail.
Rudkin has over a decade of experience in the rail industry, spending 10 years in a variety of senior positions at Network Rail supporting the Western, Wessex & Kent regions, and more recently five years at Southeastern Railway as Head of Service Delivery.
So far, Rudkin has already helped oversee the successful rollout of Luminate, a digital platform delivering real-time, route-wide control for dynamic disruption management, and Initiate, a possession management system for safe planning and incident response in Scotland, as well as the ongoing rollout of Luminate in Wales.

Over the next year, Rudkin and Resonate will focus on supporting customers in delivering the CP7 objectives set out by Network Rail, using tools such as Initiate to improve safety, performance and efficiency across UK railways.
