Cube Glass secures Tesco work in Yorkshire alongside Glasgow University and new schools projects

Cumbernauld-based precision manufacturer Cube Glass has secured a major commercial breakthrough in winning its first contract to undertake work for retail giant Tesco.
Operating alongside contractor, Key Property Solutions (KPS), Cube Glass will next month begin a £250,000 project to install a timber curtain walling system for a new Tesco Superstore in Harrogate, North Yorkshire.

In association with Glasgow-based Morris & Spottiswood, Cube Glass has also been awarded a £400,000 contract to refurbish the University of Glasgow’s Adam Smith Building by removing old windows, doors and curtain walling and replacing them with new super insulated aluminium products.
In addition, the company has secured two further contract in the education sector worth £200,000. Acting alongside Morrison Construction, Cube Glass will undertake refurbishment work at Milnes High School in Fochabers and Speyside High School in Aberlour, installing a new range of super insulated windows and doors produced by innovative Northern Ireland- based Metal Technologies.
Cube Glass posted record turnover of £4.5m in the year to October 2023, up from £3.25m in the previous year.
