Boss Pizza Names Oceanic Media as Marketing Partner
Posted On February , 2024
Glasgow-based multimedia agency Oceanic Media has been designated as the Marketing Partner for Boss Pizza, an independent pizza chain located in Lanarkshire.
The decision came after a rigorous and extensive selection process. Oceanic positions itself as the missing piece of its clients’ marketing puzzle and aims to continue this role as an extension of Boss Pizza’s marketing efforts.
Boss Pizza was established in response to a market demand for fresh dough pizzas. The pizzas crafted by Boss Pizza are 40% larger and 50% more affordable than those offered by Dominos. Following successful outlets in Larkhall and Hamilton, Boss Pizza took the initial steps in its ambitious expansion plans in 2023, opening a store in Acton, London with an additional 20 in the pipeline. With Oceanic’s assistance, Boss aims to establish its brand nationwide in the UK and compete with established pizza brands.
Ross Findlay, Operations Manager for Boss Pizza said: “We’ve been overwhelmed by the success of the brand so far but we know that this is just the beginning.
Our ambition is to be the leading pizza brand in the UK and we’re confident that with this Oceanic partnership we can achieve that ambition.”
Founded in 2015, Oceanic Media delivers tailored marketing campaigns for its clients, utilizing digital marketing, PR, influencer management, and offline marketing platforms. One of its specialties is new restaurant openings, having launched over 250 new restaurants across the UK and North America.
Oceanic Media earned the honour of being named Media Agency of the Year at the Asian Media Agency in 2023.
Sharmin Alam, Head of Business at Oceanic Media, commented on this collaboration: “We’re excited for the opportunity to work alongside a growing brand like Boss Pizza. We take great pride in seeing our clients succeed, and we aim to do everything in our power to make Boss Pizza a household name in the UK Takeaway industry.”
