Scottish Entrepreneur Acquires Edinburgh Video Production Firm Founded by Schoolboy

Scottish entrepreneur Mark Glasgow has acquired Edinburgh-based video production company Just Shot for an undisclosed sum, expanding his business portfolio and advancing plans to establish a leading marketing agency for the UK trades sector.

Founded in 2021 by Sergiusz Jezewski, now 20, Just Shot has delivered creative services for major automotive brands, including Rolls-Royce and Aston Martin. Its services range from social media content and advertising to corporate events, commercial productions, 3D animation, sound design and scriptwriting.

The company serves clients across the UK, including car dealerships, law firms and trades businesses.

Jezewski launched the business while studying at Holyrood High School in Edinburgh. After completing sixth year, he chose to pursue his passion for video production rather than accept the opportunity to study architecture at university.

Glasgow, founder of Edinburgh Boiler Company (EBC) and the Energy Training Academy, plans to integrate the company’s creative expertise into a new venture, Trade Boss Marketing. The business will initially employ five staff members and operate from Dalkeith.

The launch complements Trade Boss AI, an artificial intelligence platform introduced by Glasgow six months ago. The platform uses AI agents to help trades businesses manage leads, administrative tasks and customer communications. Trade Boss Marketing will operate independently alongside the technology platform.

Jezewski said he first met Glasgow while producing a documentary-style series for the Energy Training Academy, adding that they quickly established a strong working relationship because of their shared approach to business.

Glasgow said his experience growing EBC into a business with an annual turnover exceeding £10 million had given him valuable industry knowledge, but he recognised the need for additional expertise to develop the marketing agency.

He described Jezewski’s skills and enthusiasm as an ideal match for his ambitions, expressing confidence in what the partnership could achieve.

Glasgow believes the venture will stand out from conventional marketing agencies by combining specialist knowledge of the trades sector with tailored artificial intelligence tools, marketing services and business coaching.

He said the combination of industry-specific AI, marketing expertise and coaching would give the new business a distinctive position in the market.
