Xeinadin Group Acquires WoodWhite Accountants
Posted On June , 2023
Xeinadin Group Limited (Xeinadin), one of the leading professional services groups in the UK and Ireland, has confirmed its acquisition of the Reading-based firm WoodWhite Accountants.
Established by Paul Worthington in 1998 and with a senior management team including Chief Operating Officer Emma Newnham, Business Development Director Chris Paterson, and Director of Client Services Keith Westran, WoodWhite Accountants is a full-service firm focused on providing outstanding client service and helping companies and their owner-managers achieve their business and personal goals. It provides advice to clients of all sizes as well as tailored accountancy and tax expertise.
The acquisition is the fourth made by the Xeinadin Group this year, providing another indicator of the group’s sustained success in expansion through acquisition, as well as organic growth.
In 2023, Xeinadin has also acquired Kenneth Easby, ClearVision and Poppleton and Appleby, expanding its national footprint and bringing additional expertise into the group whilst maintaining its focus on becoming the most trusted advisor for founder-owned businesses.
WoodWhite Accountants is a technologically progressive accountancy firm, well suited to the digital push from increasing client expectations and government drives in areas such as tax. Increasing the digitalisation of its service offering is a primary organic growth lever for Xeinadin.
Tom Lightowler, Board Director, Xeinadin Group, said: “Digital transformation is creating a lot of activity within the accountancy services market. A lot of businesses are coming to Xeinadin to help them on this journey as they recognise it is well placed to lead this transformation.”
Xeinadin has over 130 locations across the UK and Ireland and provides over 40 service lines to over 50,000 clients, predominantly small and medium sized businesses and their owner-managers. A fast-growing, acquisitive group, it is one of the professional services market’s leading businesses, with more than 1,700 employees.
Derry Crowley (pictured above), CEO, Xeinadin Group, said: “We are pleased to have WoodWhite Accountants under the Xeinadin Group, marking another step in our ongoing growth. The firm is aligned with our ethos, is well-matched in terms of the clients it serves, and provides the quality of service which we expect across our group. We’re looking forward to working with Emma, Chris, Keith and the team.”
Emma Newnham said: “We are really excited to be joining the Xeinadin Group and to be part of a network of advisors that focus on building relationships and helping business owners, to not just achieve business goals, but also personal goals.
This philosophy mirrors what we have been striving to achieve at WoodWhite. Being part of the Xeinadin Group will extend the portfolio of services we can offer our clients and also extend the opportunities we can offer our team. We are all looking forward to the next chapter of our journey.”
