WYLIE & BISSET DIRECTOR HONOURED AT SCOTTISH ASIAN & BUSINESS AWARDS
Shehzad Ashaq (pictured above), corporate tax director at Accountants and Business Advisers Wylie & Bisset has won the Rising Star in Business category at the 15th Scottish Asian & Business Awards 2022.
The awards which were held at the Marriot Hotel in Glasgow on the 19th of December recognise a wide range of achievements from Asian individuals across Scotland who positively impact business, charity, sport, arts, culture, education and medicine.
Some of the top professionals and businesses from the Scottish Asian community were awarded for their ingenuity and achievements. These Awards showcase the strength of the Asian community, the impact they have on Scotland’s culture & economy, and highlight their progression over the last year.
Commenting on his win, Mr Ashaq said: “I’m honoured to win this category at the prestigious Scottish Asian & Business Awards and shall use this recognition to help further spread the word about how R&D tax credits can be considered as another form of funding that can improve cash flow as well as bottom-line profits for ambitious entrepreneurs.”
