JANE DAVIDSON (EDINBURGH)
Jane Davidson is a family run business, founded in 1969 in The Grassmarket, Edinburgh by Jane Davidson, now Jane Hall. The original boutique sold only British brands such as Jean Muir, Ozzie Clark, and Jean Varon and was attached to a church in the Old Town. It was decorated in the style of a smart French Salon.
The boutique is now owned by Jane’s daughter Sarah Murray, and is based in a Georgian townhouse on Thistle Street. The boutique is discreetly located in Edinburgh’s elegant New Town in the thick of the upmarket shopping area. The boutique has grown steadily since it opened on the ground floor of its current site and has expanded over 4 floors in the last 10 years.
The store features a host of International Designer labels including Diane Von Furstenberg, Dries Van Noten, Isabel Marant, Queene & Belle, Fabiana Filippi and more.
The philosophy behind the store is very much centered around exceptional customer service and a relaxed atmosphere.
EMPORIUM (PRESTWICK)
Emporium was born in February 2008, with the idea of bringing affordable clothing, jewellery and accessories to the women of Prestwick. Over the years, the success of this concept has seen their customer base grow the lengths and breadths of Britain.
Emporium was made easily available to everyone with the launch of their website in late 2016. Their efforts have been recognised over the years with them being voted ‘Best Fashion Boutique’ in Ayrshire in 2018, and ‘Best Independent Retailer’ in Ayrshire in 2019, awarded by the Scottish Business Awards.

Your Boutique is an independent fashion boutique who opened our doors in October 2013 with our shop in Strathaven. We pride ourselves in bringing to you affordable, fast moving fashion, sourcing new brands from the continent on a weekly basis.
FAIRLIE CURVED (PAISLEY)
Fairlie Curved is dedicated to producing clothes for larger women. This came about after founder Jayne produced the first range of clothes while in her final year of a Textile, Fashion Design and Management course at university.
Her aim was to make as she describes “busty blessed girls” feel and look amazing. Believing curvy girls outfits should make them feel as fabulous as they are and that these clothes should be affordable. Fairlie aims to fill that gap for quality, stylish, affordable clothing for big boobs that not only fits well but flatters their figure.
Jayne believes in buying well, filling your wardrobe with good quality basics, mixed with some fab on trend items. They offer affordable, stylish, garments that are not fast fashion, but pieces women will always want to wear as they are made to look and feel great.
NELLY MCCABE (GLASGOW)
Nelly opened back in August 2017 off the back of years of dreaming and planning. Their first boutique is based in the village of Muirhead on the outskirts of Glasgow and takes its named from the founder’s late Grandmother Nelly McCabe.
Over the past few years Nelly’s won best New Business in Glasgow in 2019 and this year Nelly’s is a finalist for the Best Boutique, unfortunately this award ceremony has been put on hold due to COVID-19.
Nelly’s has grown a fantastic customer base, received fantastic and generous press coverage, including having the privilege of working with Mr Gok Wan for two consecutive years at various fashion events.
They love helping customers find what fits them no matter the occasion whether it be a first date or a job interview. Their aim is for every customer to walk out of the store feeling confident and fabulous.
Nelly’s sources styles from across UK & Europe and in particular they have an eye for Danish brands, easy to wear, great fabrics and are the go to pieces, giving total effortless chic.
CAPTURE BOUTIQUE (BRIDGE OF WEIR)
Set in the centre of historic Bridge of Allan, Capture Boutique is an independent fashion retailer with an eye for stylish, classic fashion with a twist and a purse friendly price tag. From office night out to wedding to lunch with friends, Capture looks to help customers find the perfect outfit. They are also open for private consultations by appointment.
GODIVA (EDINBURGH)
Opening in 2003 strongly believes in providing customers with unique and alternative styles. They aim to stand out from the larger franchise fashion retailers by catering to individuals.
With a backroom full of handpicked quality vintage clothing and front showroom filled with pieces from local talented and ethical designers, Godiva is a potential treasure trove for those looking for limited garments and accessories.
