SCULLION LAW EXPANDS PRIVATE CLIENT TEAM WITH RETURN OF MARTONE

Solicitor Paolo Martone has re- joined Scullion LAW after previously working with the firm within the Court Team over 10 years ago.
He is now working closely with Managing Director Nicholas Scullion, Solicitor Emma Wright, Paralegal Sarah Monaghan and legal secretary Amelia Fraser within the award-winning Private Client department – focusing on Estates.
Describing his move, Paolo said: “I worked as a Criminal Court Solicitor at Scullion LAW under the daily direction of founding partner, Nicholas J. Scullion Snr.
“By my second year with the firm in 2010 not only were we prestigiously recognised as the Criminal Law Firm of the Year, I too, had been individually shortlisted as one of the top five criminal lawyers in Scotland.
“I owe an immense debt of gratitude to the firm for the meteoric professional development I accomplished previously.
“And there wasn’t any question of who I wanted to work for upon my return to the profession after a decade spent owning and operating several successful hospitality businesses in central Scotland.”
The Private Client Department recently raised over £250,000 of future income for Marie Curie Scotland via their annual free Will writing service and in 2021 won a national award for Fundraising Excellence.
Nicholas Scullion, Managing Director said: “I am delighted to welcome Paolo back to Scullion LAW. He has so much energy, passion and drive.
“His core values of care and client focus match our own and I know he is going to be an asset to our Private Client Team.
“We worked very well together when he was last here in 2010 and I am really excited to see what the future holds.”
Scullion LAW recently won SME Scottish Enterprise Family Law Firm of the Year 2021. Head of the Family Department, Judith Higson, has been recognised as a leading individual in Legal 500 UK and the firm has been ranked as a leading firm for the second year running.
