Scottish hairstylist continues to find success with her new salon
Multi award winning hairstylist, Claire Louise Naismith is seeing great success with her salon, Hair We Go on Glasgow’s Hope Street.
The ability for stylists to help people feel better about themselves is what initially drew her to the beauty industry. She would start her journey taking courses at Clydebank and Coatbridge colleges as well as spending some time over in New Zealand.
She now works as a blonde specialist and Creative Colour Director which means she specialises in the helping clients finding the best colour to suit them. She has carried over the idea of making customers feel good over to her work and she believes a person’s hair should be an expression of them.
She previously ran the very successful salon Exquisite Hair Design in Kings Park picking up many accolades over the years primarily in the customer service category.
Claire has worked with top influencers based in both the UK and internationally.
Sadly despite business being strong Claire was forced to close upon finding out she had stage 3/4 ovarian cancer. With her future being so uncertain she made the difficult decision and close the salon in order to seek treatment for her illness
Ten years later she returned to the beauty industry 10 years later with Hair We Go which has hit the ground winning following its opening in September 2022.
Since it opened Claire has won Best Content Creator at the 2022 Social Media Hair & Beauty Awards and Best Female Stylist at the Scottish Hair & Beauty Awards
They are the main sponsor for Miss Great Britain and have won best hair salon 2023 at the Scottish business awards. Both Claire and the salon have been shortlisted for several more awards over the next year.
With her 23 years of experience Claire credits how she and her team keep up with the latest trends as well as running regular discounts among the reasons for the continued success across multiple businesses.
