Professional Services Firm Appoints New Scottish Leader
Jason Morris has been named as PwC’s new regional leader for Scotland.
He will now combine this role with his existing position as head of the firm’s UK deals renewable practice, as PwC focuses on helping businesses solve challenges linked to climate change.
Morris will assume leadership for more than 1,000 people across their Glasgow, Edinburgh and Aberdeen offices.
“I take on this role at a challenging time as businesses of all sizes across all sectors are facing some serious headwinds as we head into 2022.
“When you look deep enough and there are some real game-changing opportunities too – particularly when you consider our potential in renewable energy, technology, and financial services” commented Jason Morris (pictured).
Morris will be taking over from Claire Reid who will be stepping into a new role as PwC’s UK head of forensics.
Clair Reid added “It has been an absolute privilege to lead PwC in Scotland over the last two and a half years.
“The period has been dominated by Covid-19, but for me it’s the achievements that we made, from our work during COP26 to improvements in diversity, social mobility, and the investment in our people and our technology that will stay with me.”
PwC has also named Martin Cowie as a senior partner in its Aberdeen Office. Cowie returned to the Aberdeen office last year, following 20 years with PwC in Sydney, Edinburgh, Glasgow and more recently Belfast.
