Innovative New App set to boost workplace wellbeing and productivity
Posted On May , 2025
Enabling businesses to reduce life admin stress for employees, enhance productivity in the workplace and increase business profitability, a pioneering new personal admin app, Tika, has been launched.
Recognising the impact practical life complexities can have in the workplace and on individuals’ mental states, Tika has been designed to simplify everyday tasks, aiming to eliminate chaos and foster a calm state of mind.
Tika’s highly innovative, biometrically secure ‘Tikaverse’ enables users to keep life’s essential documents, tasks and deadlines in one place – from insurance policies, to passport details and NHS numbers.
Employees can upload digital copies of their life admin, employee benefits and wage slips, providing peace of mind that everything is easily accessible and removing any worries about lost documents or forgotten bills.
Harnessing the power of technology, the intelligent platform offers employees the valuable opportunity to connect with other Tika users to synchronise calendar events, collaborate on to-do lists, share important documents and set reminders.
In addition to demonstrating a firm commitment to the wellbeing of its team members, employers will benefit from a user management portal, monthly reporting, and usage analysis and recommendations.
The business is led by entrepreneur Sid Sutton, who throughout his career has spent two decades as a FTSE 100 executive, invested in and mentored over 30 SME businesses, and served as the Chief Executive Officer of Premiership rugby club Sale Sharks. Sid’s other business ventures include 360 Thrive, a business coaching consultancy, and YRDS, one of the fastest-growing sports agencies.
Sid Sutton (pictured above), Founder of Tika, commented: “Although personal life admin could be considered a personal problem, it can have a significant impact on an employee’s productivity, stress levels, and overall wellbeing in the workplace.
Research has shown that 56% of employees spend at least 3 hours per week dealing with personal admin and financial issues during work hours (PWC Financial Wellness Survey 2023). When employees are overwhelmed with personal life admin tasks, it can lead to reduced focus, increased anxiety, and decreased job satisfaction and engagement.
He added: “The concept of Tika emerged from my experiences at Sale Sharks, where I observed that understanding the mind is crucial for unlocking individual potential. I recognised that everyday challenges, like forgetting MOT appointments or dealing with multiple holiday insurances, often detracted from professional performance and overall wellbeing.
Tika addresses these issues head-on, empowering users to focus on what matters most by managing the practicalities of life efficiently, thus fostering a more balanced and fulfilling lifestyle.
By prioritising stress reduction and employee wellbeing, businesses can create a healthier, more supportive work environment that nurtures growth, innovation and success. Tika’s life admin platform enables businesses to provide their employees with a tool to improve their overall wellbeing, leading to a more productive and positive workplace.”
