HARDIES APPOINT MARK O’NEILL HEAD OF ENERGY

Mark O’Neill has been appointed Head of Energy in the Hardies Property & Construction Consultants Glasgow office.
O’Neill (pictured) will lead a team of 13 energy surveyors which is believed to be the largest in Scotland. He joins Hardies from DM Hall, where he was an Associate and Head of Commercial Energy Services.
As energy performance regulations tighten his team aim to provide advice to property owners.
Hardies is the sister firm of Shepherd Chartered Surveyors.
Hardies Partner Danny McArthur said: “Mark can provide expert comment on the relationships between energy ratings and the value and marketability of buildings that many institutional lenders and market funders now seek in meeting their own ESG agenda requirements.”
