As sustainable travel and tourism continues to grow in popularity, local residents and visitors in Edinburgh can now rent a Tesla Model 3 or a Mercedes-Benz EQB 350 SUV from the Europcar branch at St James Quarter. The latest electric vehicle models to be added to the Europcar offering, provides drivers with the latest in green motoring technology while providing a superior driving experience.
Managing Director of Europcar Mobility Group UK Ron Santiago said: “More people are looking for eco-travel solutions to reduce their carbon footprint whether it’s for a leisure or business trip.
The continued adoption of electric vehicles by Europcar and increasing our network of hybrid and electric cars availability, underpins our ‘One Sustainable Fleet’ programme which aims to have at least 20% of our vehicles emitting less than 50g CO2 / km by the end of 2024.”
