An environmental compliance specialist has recorded an impressive 40% growth for the second year in a row, as it continues to expand its team.

Manchester based Ecoveritas is bolstering its capabilities through significant investments in technology and specialist staff, enabling more robust compliance solutions for clients.

Having recently moved into its new head office in Manchester’s CORE building on Brown Street, the company provides expert data-driven packaging reporting services to industry and retail, including reporting for extended producer responsibility (EPR).

The firm has experienced significant growth, expanding from a small team at its original Oxford office to now nearly 50 employees, with plans for continued expansion over the coming months.

The official move to the North of England last month, coincided with the company’s milestone of signing 150 clients in more than 15 different sectors, working with brands like eBay, Selfridges, Claire’s, and Suzuki, to name a few.

Of these clients, more than 70 have a combined excess turnover more than £50 billion, and Ecoveritas receives over 20,000 supplier data requests issued and processed each year.

Reflecting on the company’s latest success, Chief Executive Officer Irvin Newbitt (pictured above) said he was extremely proud of the talented team of individuals who have been instrumental in Ecoveritas’ growth.

Founded in 1999, Ecoveritas has grown into a leading force in environmental compliance, attracting a wide range of prominent clients.

The company provides services including Plastic Tax reporting, Global EPR reviews and EPR- which recently made headlines due to the new regulation deadlines.

The new rules require UK businesses to collect and report data on the packaging they supply, import or import as packaging around products.

They must pay the appropriate fee for the quantity of packaging they place on the market to meet legal obligations and declare which country the packaging is supplied and discarded in.
