DM HALL MOVES TO NEW GALASHIELS OFFICE
Posted On March , 2023
Leading Scottish independent firm of chartered surveyors DM Hall has moved to new, bigger, and more central premises in Galashiels.
In addition, the 126-year-old business which was established in Edinburgh in 1897, is urgently seeking to recruit a further administrative person to add to its existing headcount of four.
The DM Hall team in Galashiels moved from its previous office in the town’s Island Street to Green Street at the end of last month. DM Hall employs over 240 people across 24 offices across Scotland.
DM Hall Partner, Richard Clowes (pictured above), who is based in the Galashiels office with a remit to cover residential surveying demand throughout the Scottish Borders and North Northumberland, said: “The move to 4 Green Street is a great boost to our business as our new office is in a convenient central location, far more visible, with easy access to parking and electric charging points.
As a business which takes its environmental responsibilities seriously, this latter point is of some importance since we are now well along the path of having almost all our motor vehicles either electric or hybrid powered.”
He added: “In addition, the recent growth in residential surveying requests throughout the wider Borders area has meant that we urgently need more hands onboard, so we are seeking to hire an enthusiastic and experienced administrator.”
