CRAFT BEER FIRM GOES FROM GRAN’S GARAGE TO £10 MILLION SALES
Scottish online craft beer specialist Flavourly are celebrating the dispatch of its millionth shipment of craft beer.
As part of the festivities, co-founder Assean Sheikh personally delivered it to the lucky customer, Bill Harvey, from Edinburgh, who was gifted it for free (see image).
The Edinburgh based business was founded by Assean and Ryan O’Rorke back in 2012 from Ryan’s gran’s garage.
It has seen demand for its at home craft beer deliveries continue to rise this year following a trebling of sales to over £10 million in 2020 with no signs of slowing down in 2021.
The company helps consumers to discover small batch craft beers from the comfort of their own homes.
It now works with over 50 breweries and offers one of the most comprehensive ranges of craft beers on the market.
Most of their beers are exclusives tailored to Flavourly customer trends and there are over 100 new product launches scheduled for this year alone.
Flavourly co-founder and CMO, Assean Sheikh said: “Today was absolutely one of my career highlights. To be able to personally deliver our millionth shipment is such a privilege and even although we are incredibly busy I wanted to recognise the significance of this milestone achievement.
The icing on the cake was being able to share the moment with Bill and to gift him his order.”
Bill Harvey said: “I’ve really been enjoying my Flavourly boxes, there’s lots of variety of beers and I haven’t had a bad beer yet. I’m a big fan of the IPA range”
