BIG ROAR AS GLASGOW SALON WINS UK COLOUR CROWN
Glasgow-based ROAR Hair and Beauty were crowned the winners of Best Colour Salon at the 2021 Salon Business Awards in London on Monday night.
Salon owner Brian ‘Leo’ McCallum (pictured) was honoured to have won this prestigious award and said: “This means so much to us.
“As a salon we are obsessed with and known for our colour, and it is an honour for this to have been recognised at these brilliant awards.”
ROAR, who have two salons in Glasgow, at Victoria Road and Fenwick Road, Giffnock, are celebrating their seventh industry award in the past year.
This latest triumph was witnessed by over 150 guests at the exclusive Quaglinos, a luxurious haven in the centre of London. The ceremony took place on England’s ‘freedom day’ so the entire evening was filled with joy.
Joanne Charlton, Publishing Editor of Salon Business, introduced the awards to an excitable crowd, eager to hear who had wowed the judges.
She said: “Each and every finalist helped to make the awards what they are today, ensuring the bar is raised year upon year. They certainly gave the judges a tough job.”
