Garry brings over 40 years of distinguished experience in criminal justice and forensic science. He spent three decades leading complex Crime investigations both as an investigator and as a lead for Scene Investigations (CSI) and Cold Case Review in Northumbria Police. Following his decorated career in law enforcement, Garry transitioned to pivotal national roles shaping the future of UK policing.
Most recently, he worked across the National Police Chiefs’ Council (NPCC) Transforming Forensics programme, the national initiative designed to develop cutting-edge capabilities, advanced technologies, and standardised practices for police forces across England and Wales. Furthermore, his work with the Forensic Capability Network (FCN) has been instrumental in supporting, coordinating, and enhancing local and regional police forensic services across the country in the Digital Forensic marketplace arena.
In his new role at SYTECH, Garry will provide strategic oversight, helping to align the company’s digital forensics and cybersecurity offerings with the evolving, complex demands of the marketplace as it deals with ever increasing volumes of data.
