Lyca Mobile, the world’s largest mobile virtual network operator, continues to consolidate its growth within the Portuguese telecommunications market, according to the latest ANACOM report for the third quarter of 2025.

In the mobile internet segment, Lyca Mobile reached a 2.2% market share, representing an increase of 0.4 percentage points, compared to the third quarter of 2024.

The report also highlights the operator’s strong performance in mobile broadband internet traffic, where it recorded a 1.3% share, up nearly 1% (0.9%) year on year.

During the period under review, Lyca Mobile also achieved a 2.1% share of active mobile accesses with effective usage, an increase of 0.3 percentage points compared with the same period last year. This growth reflects consumers’ growing preference for the company’s flexible and competitively priced services.

In addition to these positive growth indicators, the operator received two major national awards this year: Produto do Ano 2025 for its recently launched physical eSIM, and the Boa Escolha Best Choice 2025 in the category ‘Non-Binding Mobile Tariffs’.
