Campbell West, the mechanical and electrical engineering business, is celebrating the end of its financial year with significant growth in revenue and an expansion of its team.
The Berkshire-based company reported a 53.84% revenue increase over the past 12 months, bringing total revenue to £10 million. This growth is attributed to the expansion of its electrical division and increase in average project size, with the company aiming to reach £13 million next year.
A major highlight was securing a £6 million project to deliver building services infrastructure for the new ophthalmology department and refurbishments at Ashford and St. Peter’s Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in Surrey.
The company has also bolstered its workforce by adding seven new team members, including Estimators, a Quantity Surveyor, Financial Assistants, and Project Managers.
Commenting on the firm’s positive results, Campbell West co-owner, Steven Campbell, said: “While market conditions have improved, much of our success is due to our motivated, self-driven team working together to deliver high-quality service to our clients.
The fact that we are able to offer a single point of contact to clients for mechanical and electrical services has also set us apart from others.
We’ve restructured the business and enhanced expertise by investing in training and development. This has enabled us to take on larger projects, which has bolstered our revenue.”
Campbell West was originally founded in 2017 by Steven Campbell and Daniel West, who met while working together as apprentices.
With an initial focus on the healthcare sector, the company has expanded its reach to other industries including local government, education settings, data centres, workspaces and industrial buildings, plus large residential projects.
