International construction and property consultancy Thomas & Adamson has made a senior appointment to its London office, supporting its plans for growth.
Gary Wait (pictured above) joins the firm as a director to spearhead its project management offering in London and develop new business. Thomas & Adamson opened its London office in 2001 and plans to make further hires in the city this year.
With an architectural background, Gary has more than 20 years’ experience in construction and property, most recently running his own project and development management consultancy for prime residential developments in London.
Gary previously held senior roles at CPC Project Services, Gardiner and Theobald, and Wainbridge. He has also worked on a range of high-profile projects in London, including the redevelopment of the area around Kings Cross Station.
Alastair Wallace, senior partner at Thomas & Adamson, said: “Our London office has been going strong for more than two decades, but this year we want to take it to the next level. Gary’s appointment is a key first step in that direction, growing our offering with another high-quality individual.
He specialises in project management and has experience of working in a range of design and construction disciplines, complementing our existing team’s strengths. Gary is a great addition to our London office and his network and expertise will help us deliver on our plans.”
Gary Wait added: “Thomas & Adamson is a dynamic company, well established in the north of the UK and the Middle East, and comes with a strong reputation.
This role is a great opportunity to join the firm and grow its London offering, whilst continuing to work as a project manager and introducing new clients to the business. I’m very much looking forward to working with the team.”
