The 10th Scottish Independent Retail Awards 2023 honours the best in Scotland

The prestigious Scottish Independent Retail Awards celebrated its milestone 10th edition on Monday 10th July at The DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in Glasgow. This esteemed occasion recognised and applauded the outstanding achievements of independent retailers across Scotland.

The event brought together industry leaders, entrepreneurs, and esteemed guests to honour the exceptional efforts of independent retailers who have contributed significantly to the growth and vibrancy of Scotland’s retail sector.

The finalists were determined following hundreds of public submitted nominations showcasing the impact that these retailers can have on their local communities. Those honoured demonstrated exceptional commitment, passion, and innovation in their respective fields, contributing significantly to the retail landscape in Scotland.

The awards aim to showcase the diverse retail landscape of Scotland and highlight the important role independent retailers’ play in the country’s economy.

Retailers from a diverse range of categories were honoured including the Burnt Island based The Happy Go Lucky Dog Company winning Independent Pet Supplier of the Year and Revive Lab in Glasgow winning Technology Retailer of the Year.

The award for Fresh Produce Provider of the Year went to Billington’s of Lenzie while Specialist Retailer of the Year was awarded to Hanover Healthfoods in Edinburgh.
