PLATINUM WAVE SCALES UP AWARD WINNING CONSULTANCY TEAM WITH NEW APPOINTMENT
Platinum Wave Franchising has boosted its renowned consultancy team to support the organisation’s worldwide offering to brands looking to launch into international growth regions.
Sarah McLean (pictured above) joins as Franchise Development Coach amid the global franchise consultancy continuing to expand its offering to more business across the globe.
Prior to her arrival at Platinum Wave, McLean has 20 years of experience across hospitality, events and tourism industries. In that time, she has developed a proven track record of developing profitable businesses and delivering innovative customer focused solutions.
Sarah’s career highlights include overseeing multi-million pound hotel refurbishments and rebrands as well devising effective Covid-19 recovery planning.
Platinum Wave is leading a new era of growth for the franchise industry and works with disruptive, game-changing brands as well as household names looking to launch into international growth regions.
The global franchise consultancy brings an end-to-end partnership and commercial guidance for brands looking to franchise. This mentorship also includes helping brands to transform their performance through scaling-up, accelerating growth and realising their brand potential.
Platinum Wave CEO and Founder, Suzie McCafferty, said: “I am thrilled to be welcoming Sarah to our team as Franchise Development Coach.
She compliments our already strong consultancy offering with a wealth of experience across a variety of industries and has experience working with big brands such as Hilton Worldwide, IHG and Sodexo.”
She added: “All of which will be a major asset as we continue to support our corporate and independent clients’ push for growth across the world.
On a personal note, I am a huge champion for women in business, and franchising in particular, so the addition of Sarah brings further diversity to our senior leadership team and a fresh outlook on the marketplace.”
Sarah McLean said: “I am excited for the next step of my career and to join the ever growing world of franchising. The industry is currently worth £18bn to the UK economy and is expected to grow to £20bn by 2024.
So, there has never been a more exciting time to be involved in franchising and I cannot wait to dive in and help aid brands on their growth journeys into new markets.”
Sarah’s arrival comes not long after Platinum Wave added more awards to its collection with a big win at a national awards show. The global franchising consultancy scooped up two awards recently at the NatWest Encouraging Women into Franchising (EWiF) Awards.
It beat stiff competition to take home the Service Provider of the Year award, which celebrates organisations which have helped their clients with significant growth over the past year across a variety of industries. Alongside that honour, Platinum Wave founder and CEO Suzie McCafferty was awarded ambassador of the year.
